Patient, Family and Visitor Guide to Respiratory and other Potential Infectious Diseases

All of our facilities are following CDC guidance, as well as that of state and local public health department recommendations related to protecting our patients, families and visitors from exposure to respiratory and other potential infectious diseases.

We have developed screening tools that are completed by every patient upon entry to the facility, as well as supplemental screenings for family members, visitors and vendors in the event they report any signs of illness or if there is a local, regional or national outbreak of any infectious disease that may pose a risk.

This ensures that anyone with symptoms of respiratory or other illnesses is recognized promptly, and actions are taken to guarantee that illness is not introduced or spread.

Hand hygiene and environmental cleaning continue to be top priorities for us.

How does this impact patients?

We are committed to high-quality, compassionate care, and that will not change.  We remain available 24/7 to screen and accept patients into all our inpatient and outpatient programs.  Mental health and addiction treatment should not wait, and we are taking every precaution possible while continuing to offer needed treatment.

How does this impact inpatient visitation?

In-person visitation is ongoing as scheduled by the facility and would only be interrupted in the event of a local, regional or national outbreak that would pose a risk by conducting in-person visitation.

What You Can Do to Prevent Virus Spread

  1. Notify staff if you have a fever or are feeling sick. The hospital may ask you to stay home.
  2. Notify staff if you have reason to believe you have come into contact with an infected person.
  3. Wash your hands often with either soap and water or hand sanitizer.
  4. Routinely clean high-touch surfaces in your home (doorknobs, light switches, countertops, etc.).
