Start Recovery Today
If you’re living with mental illness, every step you take toward change is an accomplishment.
Our Changes® outpatient mental health treatment programs offer several pathways to help you build healthy coping skills, identify triggers and replacement behaviors, and achieve a higher quality of life. Some people step down to outpatient treatment from one of our inpatient programs, while others start their journey as an outpatient.
We’ll work with you to understand any barriers you may face to receiving treatment, and to help find solutions. We offer schedules to fit your needs, payment plans to make treatment affordable, and non-emergency transportation in some areas.
We’re ready to help you take the next step.
Mental illness is a complex group of conditions that affect a person’s mood, thinking, and behavior. In our outpatient programs, we treat the following illnesses:
Our program begins with a mental and physical health assessment. Based on your assessment and your needs, our team will recommend a treatment plan that typically includes a combination of talk therapy, holistic therapies, peer-to-peer support groups, and medication management.
Dual Diagnosis for Co-Occurring Disorders
Sometimes people with mental health issues are also struggling with substance use. Together, we’ll develop a treatment plan that addresses your needs and all of your symptoms.
We offer a wide range of therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness training, family education and counseling, and fitness and wellness education.
When you’re in outpatient mental health treatment, whether you are stepping down from inpatient care or beginning treatment as an outpatient, your plan will include one of two programs.
For people who need to maintain a work, home, or school schedule, our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers comprehensive outpatient services in a day or evening format. Typically, this program lasts two to four weeks and meets five to six days a week. You’ll participate in several sessions each day, including individual, group, and family therapy. You’ll also have opportunities to enjoy our beautiful grounds and take part in holistic activities like yoga, music, and art.
Your treatment plan may include our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), which meets three to five days a week for a minimum of nine hours per week. This program offers group and family therapy, as well as medication management, skill development, and long-term recovery planning. Before you complete the program, we’ll make sure that any ongoing treatment you need is aligned with your aftercare provider.
Some of the discussion areas for outpatient mental health treatment include triggers and warning signs, self-identity and self-esteem, coping skills, relapse stages and prevention, and understanding emotions and moods.
